Highlanders finish fourth:
UC Riverside placed fourth out of ten teams at the New Mexico State Aggie Invitational.
The Highlanders had a 900 total with rounds of 304, 292 and 304. Sacramento State won the invitational with a 873.
UCR’s Jakeishya Le and Hana Furuichi tied for 15th place with a 224.
UCI 4, UCR 0:
Vincent Morales made four saves in UC Riverside’s BigWest loss on the road.
The Highlanders are 1-11 on the season, 1-4 in conference play.
Whittier 2, U of R 0:
Hannah Menk made five saves in Redlands’ Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference loss at home.
The Bulldogs are 7-5 overall, 4-5 in conference play.
MEN’S WATER POLO
U of R 9, Claremont-M-S 8:
Grant Curry scored five goals the University of Redlands’ SCIAC victory at home.
Claremont led 5-4 going into the third quarter when the Bulldogs scored three to take the lead.
CMS took back an 8-7 lead before Curry scored with 3:06 left to tie it and again at the one minute mark to take the lead.
Mitchell Walker followed with two goals while Ty Williams and Kyle Jackson each added one.
Redlands is 8-12 overall, 3-2 in SCIAC.
Mt. San Jacinto 3, San Bernardino Valley 0:
The Eagles defeated the Wolverines in a Pacific Coast Athletic Conference match at San Bernardino’s Aux Gym.
The Wolverines’ Rochelle Dizon and Tialanni Lose each had seven kills. Dizon added 11 digs, while Destiny Alvarez had 17 assists in the loss.
Mt. San Jacinto improves to 8-8 overall and 2-1 in conference, while San Bernardino drops to 2-12 and 0-2 in conference.
Saddleback 3, Riverside City College 0:
The Tigers fell to the Saddleback Gauchos in Orange Coast Conference action at home.
RCC is now 7-8 and 2-5 in conference.
CBU 3, Chaminade 0:
California Baptist remains undefeated at 17-0 after sweeping Chaminade University of Honolulu in three sets (25-14, 25-21, 25-20).
