San Bernardino Valley 60, Chaffey 58 (OT):
The Wolverines traveled to Chaffey College where they won their first game of the regular season in overtime.
San Bernardino will face Mt. San Antonio at the Mt. SAC Tip-Off Tournament on Friday at 7 p.m.
U of R 3, Pomona-Pitzer 0:
The University of Redlands scored three goals within a span of 12 minutes to take the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory over the visiting Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens.
Chase Boone put the Bulldogs on the board with an unassisted goal in the 55th minute. Boone then assisted Antony Chonga’s goal at the 66:04 mark.
Collin ChubbFertal closed the game just 40 seconds later with an assist from Cameron Doody.
The Bulldogs are 14-3-2, 12-0-2 SCIAC.
UC Riverside 1, UC Santa Barbara 0:
The Highlanders’ Eduardo Sanchez scored the lone goal to get the Big West Conference Tournament first round victory in Santa Barbara.
Sanchez was assisted by Olli Pirinen in the 87th minute of action.
Desert 3, SBVC 0:
Crystal Chase had 10 assists and six digs in San Bernardino Valley College’s loss at home.
Rochelle Dizon led with nine digs while Savanna Aguilar and Maggie Raygoza each had eight.
The Wolverines are now 2-17 overall, 0-7 in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference.
CBU 3, Dominican 1:
McKenna Witt had a double-double in Cal Baptist’s 17-25, 25-8, 25-9, 25-17 win at home.
Witt led the Lancers with 16 kills and 14 digs while Sydney Kralj had a match-high 46 assists and four aces. Lauren Hackett had 16 kills and eight digs.
CBU remains undefeated at 22-0 overall, 14-0 in PacWest action.
Palomar 3, MSJC 1:
Mt. San Jacinto is tied at 4-4 in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference after a victory over Palomar College at home. The Eagles are 10-11 overall.
