BASEBALL

El Camino 11, San Bernardino Valley 6:
The Wolverines fell to El Camino College in a nonconference game at home after a slow start and several errors.
Starting pitcher Andrew Aguilera allowed five runs for the Warriors in the first inning.
El Camino’s Spencer Palmer singled home two, and a throwing error on a pickoff play by SBVC’s Tristen Macias allowed another runner to score. Another error later in the inning helped another Warriors’ runner cross the plate.
In the third, Tyler Van Marter threw the ball away trying to get Jose Ruiz out at first, allowing two runners to score.
The Wolverines (4-6) finished with six errors in the loss.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Mt. San Jacinto 83, San Bernardino Valley 57:
The Eagles defeated San Bernardino Valley in a Pacific Coast Athletic Conference game at home to improve to 26-2 on the season and 7-1 in conference.
MSJC sits in first place in the PCAC with a three-game winning streak. Meanwhile, SBVC (14-12, 2-5) has a three-game losing streak with just one game remaining in the regular season.
San Bernardino Valley will host the College of the Desert on Friday at 5 p.m. That same day and time, Mt. San Jacinto will face San Diego City on the road.

SOFTBALL

Riverside City College 9, Fullerton College 0:
The Tigers (6-2) swept Fullerton College in six innings in their Orange Empire Conference opener at the Evans Sports Complex thanks to their dominating offense and pure pitching.
RCC’s starting pitcher Synphony Hall (4-1) did not allow a hit until the top of the sixth inning with one out. She also struck out two and gave up four walks.
