UC Riverside ties for seventh:
The Highlanders tied for seventh with Cal State Fullerton, totaling 909 points in the third and final round of the UC Irvine Anteater Invitational at the Santa Ana Country Club.
UCR had rounds of 303, 304 and 302.
Leading UC Riverside was Jakeishya Le who tied for 10th with 220 points.
SBVC 3, Palomar 0:
Fred Zaragoza scored two goals in San Bernardino Valley College’s road win over Palomar College.
Noe Granillo put the Wolverines (11-7-1, 9-3-1 PCAC) on the board with an unassisted goal at the 20th minute and then assisted Zaragoza’s goal in the 65th minute.
Tony Vallejo and Victor Garcia each made an assist.
Santiago 3, Norco 2:
Norco College is 2-13-3 after an Orange Empire Conference loss at home.
The Mustangs are 1-11 in conference play.
Santiago 7, Norco 0:
The Mustangs were shutout on the road in an Orange Empire Conference match against the Santiago Canyon College Hawks.
Norco’s Alexa Lopez received a penalty in the first half as the Hawks scored three goals. Santiago added four in the second half to close out the game.
Norco drops to 2-16 overall and 0-14 in conference.
SBVC 7, Desert 0:
San Bernardino Valley College improved to 16-1-1 on the season and 7-0 in conference after sweeping the College of the Desert Roadrunners.
Traci Martinez and Jennifer Buenrostro both scored an unassisted goal. Claudia Alfaro and Morgan Simmang both scored in the first half, while Samantha Cordova, Jada Calderon, and Teagan Taylor scored in the second.
Goalie Ann-Marie O’Connell made a save for the Wolverines.
MSJC 2, Miramar 0:
The Eagles took a Pacific Coast Athletic Conference shutout victory over the visiting Miramar College Jets.
With the win, Mt. San Jacinto improves to 8-8-1 overall, 4-2-4 in the PCAC and 6-4 at home.
