MEN’S BASKETBALL
Cal Baptist 85, Western New Mexico 50:
Kalidou Diouf had a double-double as the Lancers dominated the Mustangs to gain a five-game winning streak at home in nonconference action.
Diouf scored 16 points and added 10 rebounds. Teammate Jason Todd was one rebound away from a double-double, with 15 points and nine rebounds.
Cory Lange contributed 12 points, five rebounds and two assists. Meanwhile, Gabe Taylor blocked three shots while adding eight points, seven rebounds and two assists.
CBU outscored Western New Mexico 42-18 in the first half.
The Lancers will host the Thanksgiving Classic at the CBU Events Center starting Friday at 5 p.m.
Hope International 108, La Sierra 73:
La Sierra University drops to 0-7 on the season after falling to Hope International University in game two of the Hope International university Classic.
DJ Everage scored 15 points and was 5-for-5 from the free-throw line, Jacob Angel followed with 10 points.
Raynaldo Solorzano had eight rebounds and Kenny Lewis was 3-for4 from the free throw line.
La Sierra will visit Life Pacific College on Nov. 29 at 7 p.m.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Cal State San Bernardino 58, Cal Baptist 50:
Sabrea Coleman scored 14 points for Cal State San Bernardino in its nonconference win over Cal Baptist at home.
The Coyotes took the lead from the very beginning and led for the entire game without a single tie.
CSUSB (3-1) was 18-for-25 from the charity line, with Coleman leading the way going 6-for-7.
Lunden Junious-Reliford and Arianna Knox each supplied 10 rebounds.
Tori Mitchell was the leading scorer for the Lancers (1-4), shooting 24 points and adding 10 rebounds and three blocks. Emma Meriggioli followed with 12 points and had four assists and was 4-for-6 from the arch.
Citrus 53, San Bernardino Valley 47:
Brittan Cheatum and sister Brianne Cheatum had 16 and 15 points, respectively, in the Wolverines’ nonconference loss to the visiting Citrus […]
