WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Vanguard 80, La Sierra 64:
La Sierra is now 0-4 after a loss to Vanguard University on the road.
La Sierra lost its 5-4 lead to a Christina Gerostergiou three-pointer with 6:25 left in the first quarter. Less than a minute later, Saray Rivera tied the game 7-7 with a jumper but once the first quarter ended with a 24-19 Vanguard lead, LSU struggled to get within six for the remainder of the game.
Elsie Mejia led the Golden Eagles with 18 points, including three three-pointers and three free throws.
Mikayla Stitt followed with 15 points and DeShield Fajardo added 12, three rebounds and five assists.

MEN’S SOCCER
Orange Coast 4, Norco 1:
Norco College dropped to 2-15-3 on the season after an at-home loss to the Orange Coast College Pirates.
The loss puts the Mustangs at 1-13 in the Orange Empire Conference.

WOMEN’S SOCCER
Orange Coast 4, Norco 0:
Kassandra De La Cruz made 10 saves for Norco in its Orange Empire Conference loss on the road.
The Mustangs are 2-18 overall, 0-16 in conference play.
Sonoma State 1, Cal Baptist 0:
The Lancers fell to Sonoma State in the first round of the NCAA Division II tournament in Washington.
Goalkeeper Sara Escobedo made four saves in the loss. She leaves Cal Baptist as the all-time saves (307) and shutouts (26) record holder.
Despite having won its third Pacific West Conference Championship, CBU ends its season 11-5-3.
Embry-Riddle (AZ) 4, La Sierra 0:
The Golden Eagles traveled to Merced, Calif. for their first match of the California Pacific Semifinals where they fell to Embry-Riddle.
La Sierra ends their season at 12-6 overall and 4-4 in conference.

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL
Embry-Riddle 3, La Sierra 1:
La Sierra finished the season with a 25-20, 25-23, 19-25, 25-16 loss at home. The Golden Eagles are 15-12, 8-6 in the California Pacific Conference.
