Riverside City College 12, Grossmont 6:
The Tigers had 16 hits in their nonconference road victory over the 2017 CCCAA defending state champion Grossmont College.
After winning its first game of a two-game series against the Griffins, RCC (3-1) extended its winning-streak to two.
Although Grossmont took an early 2-0 lead, RCC had six runs in the fourth and fifth innings, including back to back homeruns.
Jacob Rodriguez and Andrew Jurado each had a homerun, three RBI and a run scored for the Tigers.
Jacob Bartham had two RBI and went 2 for 5 with two runs scored.
Irvine Valley College 5, San Bernardino Valley 4:
The Wolverines fell to the Lasers in College of the Desert’s David Buttles Memorial Tournament as Irvine Valley scored three runs in the top of the ninth to get the victory.
SBVC was led by Brian Campos who went 3 for 3 with a run scored.
Jason Lopez, Matthew Glover and Jaden Burns each had a RBI in the loss.
Biola University 11, La Sierra 7.
The Golden Eagles dropped to 0-2 on the season after falling to Biola University on the road.
Brittney Meyers led La Sierra with two RBI as she went 2 for 4 at the plate.
Riverside City College 9, Mt. San Jacinto 0:
The Tigers extended their winning-streak to three as they swept past the Eagles in a nonconference match at home.
RCC had all straight set victories in singles play and dominated the doubles.
Kayne Trustfull defeated his opponent, 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 1 singles match, while Thomas Pidoux won the No. 2 singles match 6-1, 6-0. All other singles were won 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles play, Miles Clark and partner Elie-Noe Nicolay dominated the Eagles with a score of 8-0.
