The Cal Baptist women’s soccer team extended their winning streak to four after defeating Dixie State in a Pacific West Conference game on the road.
Less than nine minutes into the game, Jordan Dow scored the Lancer’s first goal after she caught the Trailblazer goalkeeper off her line from 35 yards out.
Desarae Felix scored the Lancers’ second goal of the game just two minutes into the second half.
Dixie State responded with a goal of their own in the 57th minute. Felix answered back about a minute later with a free kick and an assist from Symone Mack.
Miranda Hald secured the win with a goal in the 79th minute.
Goalkeeper Sara Escobedo had 13 saves in the victory.
CBU improves to 5-3-0 and 3-0-0 in conference.

University of Redlands 1, La Verne 0:
The Bulldogs’ junior forward Adi Fellows scored the lone goal, with help from two teammates, to get the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference shutout victory over La Verne.
After junior defender Madison Mills crossed the ball to the far post, senior forward Mollie Craighead headed it back across the box where Fellows volleyed the ball into the back of the net.
Redlands, now 6-3-0 overall and 3-3-0 in conference, outshot La Verne 4-1 in the first 10 minutes of action.
Antelope Valley 31, Mt. San Jacinto 7:
Jomari Becnel gave the Eagles (2-2) their only touchdown as they fell to the visiting Antelope Valley Marauders in nonconference action.
Becnel turned seven touches into 34 yards rushing, including an 18 yard touchdown in the second quarter to tie the game 7-7.
Eagles’ quarterback Sheriron Jones was 21 for 48, passing for 217 yards with two interceptions.
Wide receiver Kefa Cort caught six passes for 74 yards in the loss.
