The Cal Baptist women’s basketball team outscored Cal State L.A. by 10 in overtime to secure the 79-69 victory at Point Loma’s Thanksgiving Classic.
Tori Mitchell grabbed her third double-double of the season, with a career-high 27 points on 11 for 19 shooting, 10 rebounds and a block.
Lexy Ram added 21 points, eight rebounds, four assists and a steal. She also scored a team-high seven points in overtime, while Mitchell contributed six more in the last five minutes.
With the win, the Lancers improve to 3-4 overall.

MORE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Humboldt State 70, Cal State San Bernardino 57:
Kaitlyn Parks led the Coyotes with 12 points on 5 for 6 shooting as they fell to Humboldt State in California Collegiate Athletic Association action at home.
The Coyotes dropped to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the CCAA.

MEN’S BASKETBALL
Cal State San Bernardino 77, Humboldt State 70:
The Coyotes were led by Blake McBride with 21 points in their CCAA home victory over Humboldt State.
Teammate Jacardo Hawkins had a game-high 11 rebounds, while adding 13 points and two blocks. T.A. Dixon added 12 points in 17 minutes played.
Humboldt was led by Tyras Rattler Jr. with 23 points off 7 for 18 from the field and 9 for 9 from the charity stripe.
St. Martin’s 93, Cal Baptist 88:
The Lancers dropped their last game before conference action to the visiting St. Martin’s Saints.
Kalidou Diouf led CBU with 19 points on 7 for 10 shooting, while adding two blocks and a steal.
Jason Todd followed with a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds, meanwhile De’jon Davis supplied 13 points and Cory Lange added 12.
Ty Rowell finished with a career-high eight assists.
CBU outrebounded the Saints 37-28.
The Saints (5-1) handed the Lancers (6-1) their first loss of the season.
