University of Redlands 9, Texas-Dallas 8:
The Bulldogs handed the Comets their third loss of the season after scoring five runs in the sixth inning on the second day of the Cactus Classic in Tucson, AZ.
The game was tied at 8 through the ninth inning, until Redlands scored one in the top of the 10th and held off the Comets in the bottom to get the victory.
Will Hall led U of R with four RBI, a double and a run scored. He also went 2 for 5 at the plate.
Five other Lancers had a RBI each, including Aaron Singh.
Singh, who went 3 for 4 at the plate, tripled, doubled and had three runs scored in the victory.
Mt. San Antonio 13, Mt. San Jacinto 8:
The Eagles (1-8) extended their losing streak to six as they fell to the Mounties at home in nonconference action.
Mt. San Jacinto will face Citrus College on the road Tuesday at 2 p.m.
Citrus College 15, San Bernardino Valley 2:
San Bernardino Valley fell to the hosting Citrus College Owls in nonconference action.
The Wolverines, who did not have any players with multiple hits, were led by Tristen Macias with an RBI double in the top of the sixth.
Jason Lopez followed with a RBI single that brought in Macias to round out the scoring for SBVC (3-5).
Cal Baptist 15, Cal State Dominguez Hills 4:
After being held to five runs in the first two games of the season, CBU (2-1) erupted against Cal State Dominguez Hills to extended its win streak to two and close out the series against the Toros in a nonconference game on the road.
Ryan Williams hit two of the Lancers’ three home runs in the game.
Williams, who went 4 for 5 at the plate, led the team with five RBI, a double and three runs scored.
