Cal Baptist 99, Simpson University 65:
The Lancers had multiple players with career nights as they took the nonconference victory over Simpson University in the final game before the new year.
De’jon Davis led with 24 points on 9-for-10 shooting and grabbed 11 rebounds for the double-double. Davis also had a block and a steal on his career night.
Cory Lange followed with 18 points and a CBU career-high four assists. Kalidou Diouf finished with 16 points and eight rebounds, while blocking five shots to tie his career-high.
CBU gets their fourth-straight win and improves to 10-2 on the season
Cal State San Bernardino 77, Cal State Monterey Bay 68:
Ajon Efferson had a game-high 23 points as Cal State San Bernardino took the CCAA victory over Cal State Monterey Bay.
Efferson made three 3-pointers, dished out five assists, grabbed two rebounds and blocked a shot in the victory.
T.A. Dixon followed with 19 points and a game-high nine rebounds. He also had three assists.
Ventura 72, Riverside City College 66:
Kane Daniels led the Tigers with 19 points in their nonconference loss at home to Ventura College (12-6).
Daniels went 6-for-8 from the field and 5-for-7 from beyond the arc while making both of his free throws. He also added six rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Andre Wilson contributed 15 points and four assists. Brae Ivey followed with 14 points and a team-high 7 rebounds.
With the loss, RCC drops to 9-5.
The Tigers will face Santiago Canyon on Jan. 3 at 5 p.m. for their first Orange Empire Conference game of the season.

The Highlanders came back from a 23-point deficit but fell short to UTEP (9-4) in nonconference action.
