Montana State Billings 12, Cal State San Bernardino 5:
The Coyotes fell to the Montana State University Billings Yellowjackets in their first game of the season at Bruce Hurst Field in Utah.
Mando Rodriguez led CSUSB (0-1) with three RBI and a run scored. He went 2 for 3 at the plate and was the only player for San Bernardino with multiple hits.
Riverside City College 6, East Los Angeles 5:
The Tigers extended their winning streak to five after taking a walk-off victory over East Los Angeles College in a nonconference game on the road.
With two-outs and the bases loaded, Jacob Barham brought in Shane Martinez in the bottom of the ninth for the game-winning run.
The Tigers (5-1) had four players with a RBI, including Jacob Hodapp who scored a run and went 3 for 4 at the plate.
Daniel Martinez, who also had a RBI, scored three runs and went 2 for 3.
San Bernardino Valley 5, Citrus 4:
Andrew Aguilera tossed six innings with six strikes outs in SBVC’s win at home.
Adrian Garcia went 3-for-3 at the plate with one RBI. Joshua Torrance and Raymond Andrade each had one RBI.
The Wolverines (3-4) will host Citrus tomorrow at 1 p.m.
Bulldogs sweep competition:
University of Redlands started the Cactus Classic with a 14-9 victory over Claremont Mudd Scripps followed by a 20-6 win over Sul Ross State University.
Rainier Aguilar and Jordan Babbitt each supplied three RBI in the opening game against CMS. Aaron Singh added two RBI while Bart In den Kleef added one and went 2-2.
Chris Fousek Jr. tossed five innings, striking out five and allowing seven hits.
In game two, Brendan Moore went 3-for-5 with five RBI, followed by Brendan Gardiner with two RBI and 2-for-3 at the plate. Adam Stead (1-0) tossed six innings, striking out three.
