MEN’S BASKETBALL
University of Redlands 80, UC Santa Cruz 74:
The Bulldogs defeated UC Santa Cruz at home in the 2017 Lee Fulmer Memorial Classic after building a 12-point lead in the second half.
Redlands had four players in double digits, including Trevor Baker, who had 21 points, nine rebounds and three steals.
Joey Sponheim added 18 points and six assists, while Kyle Husslein provided 17 points and 14 rebounds off the bench.
David Menary supplied 10 points and five rebounds.
San Bernardino Valley 101, Rio Hondo 63:
The No. 1 ranked Wolverines dominated Rio Hondo in the first round of the Gregg Anderson Memorial Tournament hosted by Antelope Valley College.
Chaffey 72, Riverside City College 62:
Riverside City College fell to Chaffey College on day one of the Mt. San Jacinto Tournament.
Jordan Robinson led the Tigers with 22 points and eight rebounds.
Andrew Wilson followed with 19 points, including two free throws and three shots from beyond the arch. Wilson also added four rebounds, five assists and a steal.
Brae Ivy added 17 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
The Tigers are now 5-3 on the season.
Mt. San Jacinto 75, Copper Mountain 74:
Davon Sanders scored 16 points for MSJC in the Hemet Valley Kiwanis Hoops and Crops Tournament.
Sanders went 4-for-4 from the charity line and added four rebounds and an assist. David Thompson scored 15 points while Terrence Williams scored 13. AJ Walton a team-high 11 rebounds.
The Eagles will face Chaffey in the championship game at 3 p.m. on Dec. 2.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
San Bernardino Valley 63, Cosumnes River College 49:
Brittan had a team-high 17 points, while sister Brianne had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds as the Wolverines opened the Bristol Marketplace Classic with a victory over Cosumnes River College.
Brianne also had seven assists in the victory.
Ariyana Babb, Ky Fantroy and Alexis Hunter added six points […]
