Improv Comedy series returns to Fantasy Springs Resort Casino with Theo Von and more

Comedy lovers are in for a whole lot of laughter when the popular Improv Comedy series returns to Fantasy Springs Resort Casino for the 11th year on Friday, Jan. 12.

Complete with the traditional Improv brick backdrop, the series features one show on Friday nights and two performances on Saturday evenings through April 7. Each performance features sets from three comics.

The iconic Improv in Hollywood is directly affiliated with the Fantasy Springs outpost and books the performers which include headliners such as Theo Von, Michael Yo and Bob Zany.

Past performers have included TV personality and weatherman Fritz Coleman and former “Howard Stern Show” personality John Melendez.

“This series has been a hit since the beginning which is why we keep doing it,” said Chris Lavoie, Fantasy Springs Resort Casino’s public relations manager. “And the comedians really enjoy it and many ask to come back to perform.”

Von performed last year and is scheduled to appear Friday, Feb. 23, and Saturday, Feb. 24.

The New Orleans native released his first Netflix special, “No Offense,” in 2016 and was also a cast member on MTV’s reality show “Road Rules: Maximum Velocity Tour” in 2000.
