HSGameTime all-area girls volleyball first team

Here are the 10 girls volleyball players from the Inland area chosen to the HSGameTime first team.

Temecula Valley, Jr., S

Amoy led the Inland area with 11.2 assists per set and guided the Golden Bears’ offense to an area-best .354 hitting percentage. She also had 203 digs, 64 kills, 35 blocks and 24 aces to help the program successfully defend its Southwestern League championship.

Citrus Valley, So., S

Barrett averaged 11 assists per set, the best total for San Bernardino County setters. She added 188 digs, 99 kills, 60 blocks and 57 aces in helping the Blackhawks finish second in the Citrus Belt League.

Santiago, Sr., MB

Blotzer was the area’s best two-way player in the middle, averaging 2.3 kills per set with a remarkable .494 attacking percentage. She also registered 105 blocks in helping the Sharks reach the CIF-SS Division 2 championship match.

Temecula Valley, So., OH

Endsley was the top attacking option for the Golden Bears, averaging 4.8 kills per set with a .349 hitting percentage. She also had 204 digs and 37 blocks, and her top-spin jump serve helped her tally 77 aces on the season.

Vista Murrieta, Sr., OH

Hadrych was the area’s most explosive outside hitter, averaging 5.3 kills per set with a .354 attacking percentage. She was a reliable defender in the back row (199 digs) and also registered 39 aces and 35 blocks for the Broncos.

Yucaipa, Sr., OH

Holt moved from middle blocker to outside hitter and averaged 4.4 kills per set with a .430 hitting percentage, tops among area outside hitters. She added 236 digs, 41 blocks and 34 aces to help Yucaipa win the Citrus Belt League title.

Citrus Valley, Jr., OH

Lilley was one of the area’s best all-around players, averaging 4.9 kills per set with a .300 attacking percentage while finishing second on the […]
