Hobby Lobby is taking over a site vacated by Wal-Mart in Riverside near the Moreno Valley border.

The craft and home decor chain plans to open at 2663 Canyon Springs Parkway in August, according to a press release.

Wal-Mart moved around the bend to a newly built supercenter at 6250 Valley Springs Parkway.

Hobby Lobby expects the store to create 35-50 jobs paying $15.70 for full-time associates and $10.50 for part-time associates.
