Kaiser Permanente opened a health clinic in the Hemet Target store on Monday, Nov. 13.
The first such clinic in Riverside County is one of 31 retail clinics Kaiser Permanente plans to open in Target stores across Southern California over the next three years.
The clinic is staffed by licensed nurse practitioners and licensed vocational nurses. Services include pediatric care, women’s health care, monitoring and care for chronic conditions, basic dermatology services and treatment for minor illnesses.
The clinic is open to Kaiser Permanente members and patients with other health insurance plans or those wishing to pay with cash or credit card. There are no appointments, just walk-in patients.
The clinic is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Hemet Target is at 3527 W. Florida Ave.
