Gwen Stefani will celebrate the holidays with a live special and fan meet and greet in L.A.
Fresh off of the release of her first holiday album, “You Make It Feel Like Christmas,” back in September, it looks like singer-songwriter and No Doubt frontwoman Gwen Stefani will be taping a special at the Los Angeles Theater in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday, Nov. 8. Seatfillersandmore.com put out the call for groups up to four to attend the special event which will later air on NBC.
“This is a Christmas Special that will feature lots of music as well as several ‘Special Guests’ to get you in the mood for the upcoming Holiday Season,” the site reads.
The taping is open to anyone ages 12 years or older and it is free to attend if you sign up via the website.
Last month Stefani announced that she’d be making an appearance underneath the Christmas Tree in The Park at The Grove (189 The Grove Drive) in Los Angeles at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24. The event will include a meet-and-greet as well as photo opportunity with Stefani. There will also be an exclusive merchandise pop-up shop and gift wrapping station. Entry requires the purchase of Stefani’s album, “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” from Barnes & Noble at The Grove on the day of the event. Wristbands will be distributed with purchases while supplies last.
The album features six original and six classic holiday covers including “Santa Baby,” “Jingle Bells,” “Let it Snow,” “Silent Night” and “White Christmas.” Stefani and her current beau, country music singer-songwriter and fellow coach on “The Voice,” Blake Shelton, co-wrote the album title track. She worked with noted pop producer Busbee on several other cuts like “My Gift Is You,” “When I Was a Little Girl” and “Never Kissed Anyone with Blue Eyes Before You.”
