Golf cart catches fire after Canyon Lake crash; 1 hurt

A collision that left a golf cart on fire in Canyon Lake on Saturday evening, Sept. 30, left one person with moderate injuries, fire officials reported.

Cal Fire/Riverside County firefighters responded to Longhorn and Tumbleweed drives at 7:02 p.m. to a report of a golf cart in a traffic collision that was on its side, a news release stated. They found the golf cart engulfed in flames.

One victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital with moderate injuries. No other details were provided on the cause of the accident or the victim’s injuries.
