When traffic goes three miles an hour on Southern California roads, it’s usually bad news.

But at the Auto Club Speedway, it could be enchanting this holiday season.

The Fontana race track is hosting “Magic of Lights,” which takes drivers and their passengers on a 1 1/2-mile course past, and sometimes through, illuminated holiday scenes.

“It’s very, very family friendly,” said Grant Reeves of Fun Guys Events, an Ohio company that is putting on the show.
