A 66-year-old man was killed in a rollover crash Friday on Interstate 15 in Apple Valley, the California Highway Patrol said.

Anthony Fuentes, of Bullhead City, Arizona, overturned his 2000 Ford-250 truck at about 7 p.m. while driving north near Dale Evans Parkway, the CHP said in a news release.

The release said Fuentes was driving about 75-80 mph when his left-rear tire went flat, causing him to lose control and crash on the right shoulder.

He was not wearing his seat belt, the release said. He was partially ejected and was pinned under the passenger side of his truck. He was taken to the hospital, where he died at 7:56 p.m.

The crash is being investigated by the Victorville CHP, which is asking anyone with information in the incident to call 760-241-1186.
