Fire damages commercial building in Temecula

A fire damaged a commercial building in Temecula on Tuesday night, Nov. 21, but no one was injured.

Heavy smoke was reported to be coming from the building at 10:02 p.m. in the 28000 block of Old Town Front Street, said April Newman of the Riverside County Fire Department.

The fire was knocked down by 21 firefighters in 36 minutes and was contained to a walk-in cooler, Newman said.

Resources were expected to remain on scene until at least 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Newman said.
