Fire causes $50,000 damage to Lakeland Village home

A fire that started in the attic of a home in Lakeland Village on Sunday, June 18, caused about $50,000 damage to the home, according to a Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department news release.

Firefighters responded to the fire at about 4 p.m. and contained it by 4:25 p.m., the release stated.

No one was evacuated from the home in the 17200 block of Grand Avenue, just outside the city of Lake Elsinore.
