Deputies seek vehicle in connection to fatal shooting in Bloomington

FONTANA — San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies have identified a possible suspect vehicle in a case involving the fatal shooting of a 37-year-old Riverside man on May 23 in Bloomington.

The Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help in the identification of the vehicle, which was last seen in the Bloomington area.

The vehicle is a white Dodge Ram pickup truck, probably a 1500 series, officials said.

Deputies from the Fontana Sheriff’s Station on May 23 just before 8 a.m. responded to the 10600 block of Dumond Avenue following a report of shots heard. Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male outside of the residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency fire personnel responded and the victim, later identified as Michael Garcia, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
