Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect who struggled with retail business employees who confronted him Tuesday, May 16, in Temecula after they spotted merchandise he had not paid for, according to a sheriff’s news release.

Deputies responded to a robbery report at about 2 p.m. in the 32000 block of Temecula Parkway. The suspect escaped with the merchandise but surveillance cameras captured photos of him.

He is described at a white male, in his mid-30s, about 5-feet, 8-inches tall, about 180 pounds, with brown hair and a receding hairline. He was driving a black 1990s model Buick Century four-door sedan.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Temecula station at 951-696-3000.
