Corona homicide victim identified; police say 26-year-old was stabbed

Authorities have identified the victim of a homicide last week as a 26-year-old Corona resident, according to a Corona police news release.

An autopsy concluded Michael Don Williams II suffered injuries consistent with stab wounds, police officials said.

Williams was found lying in a roadway about 1:55 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, in the 1300 block of Old Temescal Road, police said at the time.The road is west of the 15 Freeway in a commercial-industrial area of the city.

Police did not release further details about what happened or their investigation. They asked anyone with information to contact Senior Detective Jesse Jurado at or 951-279-3628.
