ComplexCon transformed the Long Beach Convention Center into the coolest mall around on Saturday, Nov. 4.

Dozens of brands dropped never before seen products and shoppers browsed street-inspired gear from 100 vendors to a soundtrack of top hip-hop artists performing across a couple of stages, topped by Pharrell Williams’ genre-bending ensemble N.E.R.D.

The event, which continues Sunday, Nov. 5, is organized by Complex, an online magazine that covers pop culture, music, sports and sneaker culture with a focus on hip-hop.

These are the most interesting things we saw at ComplexCon’s opening day.
