Clippers guard Lou Williams was selected Thursday to participate in the Skills Challenge and newly-acquired forward Tobias Harris was picked for the 3-point contest at the NBA All-Star Saturday Night on Feb. 17 at Staples Center. All-Star Saturday Night also includes the Slam Dunk contest.

Williams is the league’s leading scorer in a reserve role, averaging 22.2 points. Overall, he’s averaging career-bests of 23.2 points and 5.2 assists while shooting 39 percent on 3-point shots and 89.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Harris averaged a career-high 18.1 points before the Clippers acquired him Monday from the Pistons in the multi-player trade that sent Blake Griffin to Detroit. Harris is shooting 40.9 percent on 3-pointers and 84.6 percent from the free-throw line.

In addition to Harris, Bradley Beal (Washington Wizards), Devin Booker (Phoenix Suns), Wayne Ellington (Miami Heat), Paul George (Oklahoma City Thunder), Eric Gordon (Houston Rockets), Kyle Lowry (Toronto Raptors) and Klay Thompson (Golden State Warriors) will compete.
