Martin Luther King High School students may soon have a new stop on their way to campus. Dunkin’ Donuts is coming to 18641 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside.
The new drive-through will open at 4 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, although the grand opening won’t be celebrated until Nov. 28, according to representatives of the chain, which is famed for its coffee.
It will be owned by franchisee Parag Patel, who opened the city’s first Dunkin’ Donuts in September 2016. That store, at 4922 La Sierra Ave, happened to be the chain’s 12,000th worldwide. In the 14 months since, the chain has grown to more than 12,400.
The opening comes one day after Dunkin’ Donuts debuts its holiday menu with such items as gingerbread cookie-flavored donuts and Brown Sugar Cinnamon coffee beverages.
