Top Inland athletes to watch: The Rancho Verde boys sprint team has qualified Isaiah Cunningham, Rasaun House and Tyler Kennedy in both the 100 and 200. They help lead the state’s fastest 400- and 1,600-meter relay teams (the 400 relay team set a Riverside County record at 40.29 at the Inland Valley League final). … Cunningham has the state’s fastest times in the 100 (10.32) and 200 (20.84). … Rancho Verde has depth in the hurdles with USC-bound Cameron Samuel — who is state-ranked in both hurdles and also anchors the state’-leading 1,600 relay (3:14.79) — and long jumper Bryan Thompson, who also runs on the 400 relay. … Vista Murrieta has won the last two state team titles.
