Child in serious condition after being found in Jurupa Valley pool

A child was reported in serious condition after being found in a near-drowning incident in a Jurupa Valley swimming pool Wednesday, Jan. 3, according to a Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire news release.
The child was found in a pool at a single-family home in the 9400 block of 56th Street and pulled out by the person who called 911 at 4:57 p.m.
Fire dispatchers gave instructions on how to perform CPR to the person, who initiated the life-saving measures before firefighters arrived to the Mira Loma neighborhood of the city.
The child was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
