Cameras stolen from Rubidoux High School, deputies want your help finding them

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is looking for cameras stolen from the audio/video department of Rubidoux High School in Jurupa Valley.

The cameras were taken on Nov. 2.

Evidence linked to the theft was recovered Friday morning when search warrants were served in the 6200 block of Jared Circle and 3900 block of Driving Range Road, in the city of Jurupa Valley.

The stolen cameras are Canon EOS Rebel T5i DSLRs. Also stolen were lenses and battery chargers, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

One of the stolen cameras was found for sale online by deputies and later recovered. It has been returned to the school, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

The Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for assistance. Department officials ask that you contact the Jurupa Valley station at 951-955-2600, if you purchased a Canon EOS Rebel T5i DSLR camera using a web-based application between Nov. 2 and Nov. 17.
