Johan Mieses singled on a line drive to left field to bring in Luke Raley from second to give the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes a 5-4 victory over the San Jose Giants in the 11-inning game at LoanMart Field.
Ibandel Isabel tied the game 4-4 with his two-run homer in the bottom of the tenth, just after San Jose’s Amaris Garcia hit a two-run homer the same inning.
Rancho had a 2-0 lead in the second with RBIs from Omar Estevez and Brandon Montgomery.
The Giants tied the game at 2 with a run in the fourth and sixth.
Rancho is 47-43 while San Jose is 38-52.
JetHawks 6, Storm 5>> Despite having two home run, the Lake Elsinore Storm could not top the Lancaster JetHawks in the California League game at The Diamond.
The JetHawks took a 4-0 lead in the fourth after a RBI-double from Garrett Hampson in the third and a three-run homer by Hamlet Marte in the fourth.
Kyle Overstreet put Lake Elsinore (43-47) on the board in the eighth with a home run to right center, followed by Rod Boykin’s homer in the same inning for a 5-2 game.
After Lancaster scored its final run in the ninth, Ruddy Giron and Overstreet each supplied a RBI in the bottom of the inning while Giron scored on a bases-loaded walk.
Javier Guerra struck out swinging with bases loaded to end the game.
66ers 7, Ports 5>> Taylor Ward homered and had two hits, driving in two as the Inland Empire 66ers topped the Stockton Ports.
Inland Empire took the lead in the first when it put up four runs, including a single by Jared Walsh that scored Ward.
Following the big inning, the Ports cut into the deficit in the second inning when Eli White scored on an error.
