Wilfri De La Cruz led the Lake Elsinore Storm as they defeated the Lancaster JetHawks, 13-1, in a California League game at The Hangar on Thursday night.
De La Cruz went 3 for 5 and had three RBI with two runs scored.
Taylor Kohlwey got the Storm started after a single on a line drive in the top of the second, scoring Carlos Belen.
Although the JetHawks answered back with a run of their own in the bottom of the fourth, De La Cruz homered in the top of the sixth to break the 1-1 tie.
In the top of the eighth, Austin Allen singled on a ground ball, scoring Edwin Moreno to ignite the team.
The Storm scored four runs in the eighth inning and seven in the ninth to widen their margin of victory.
Allen went 2 for 5 and had three RBI and two runs scored.
Belen followed with a double, two RBI and three runs scored.
Kohlwey scored the Storm’s last run of the game and finished with three RBI and a triple.
Pitcher Adrian De Horta took home the win after striking out six and allowing five hits, a run and two walks in six innings.
Gerardo Reyes got the hold after pitching two innings and striking out two.

Stockton 7, Inland Empire 6:
The 66ers scored three runs in the fourth, but it was not enough to defeat the Stockton Ports who scored six runs in two innings at San Manuel Stadium.
Up 1-0 with Cody Ramer batting, Jake Yacinich stole home in the bottom of the second.
Brennon Lund doubled on a line drive in the bottom of the fourth, scoring Michael Barash and Ramer.
The Ports’ Mikey White III homered to left field in the top of the eighth, scoring Brett Siddall.
In the ninth, Seth Brown tripled, scoring two to give San Jose the advantage.
