Broadcom Ltd., the semiconductor company with significant Orange County roots, is moving its Singapore base to the U.S., President Donald Trump announced Thursday.

Broadcom, which manufactures communications chips around the world, said it would relocate its legal address to Delaware once shareholders approve the move, bringing $20 billion in annual revenue back to the U.S.

The company was founded by Ducks’ owner Henry Samueli and Henry Nicholas III, who left the company in 2003. When Singapore-based Avago Technologies announced it was buying Broadcom in 2016 for $37 billion, Samueli was named chairman and chief technology […]
