Bakersfield Condors score early to defeat Ontario Reign

The Ontario Reign gave up two goals in the first period as they fell 3-2 to the Bakersfield Condors in an American Hockey League game Saturday at the Rabobank Arena.

The Condors (18-18-7-1) widened the lead to 3-0 with a power-play goal at 9:52 in the second period.

Less than a minute later, Andrew Crescenzi fired back for the Reign with an assist from Matt Roy.

Jordan Subban scored Ontario’s final goal of the game 4:09 into the third. He was assisted T.J. Hensick and Justin Auger.

The Reign (23-18-2-1) outshot Bakersfield 30-26 in the loss.

Ontario goalkeeper Jack Campbell had 23 saves.
