A pursuit through Temecula Friday night, Feb. 2 ended with a rollover crash and a juvenile getting bitten by a police dog.

Riverside County sheriff’s deputies responded to a man-with-a-gun call at a Temecula Parkway shopping center around 8:30 p.m., said Deputy Armando Munoz. A deputy found the suspect and five other people – all juveniles – inside a white Chevrolet Suburban, which fled as the deputy tried to contact the driver, Munoz said.

The pursuit ended at Campanula Way and De Portola Road when the Suburban rolled over. Three people in the vehicle fled while the other three fled on foot before being caught, Munoz said, adding that one suspect was bitten by a K9 dog.

The driver was booked into juvenile hall while the other five passengers were released to the custody of adults.
