3 shot, wounded in San Bernardino; suspects at large
Three people who were shot Thursday, afternoon, Feb. 1, in San Bernardino were taken to the hospital, but were expected to live, police said.
The gunfire was reported just before 1:30 p.m. on the southwest corner of 16th and D streets when several suspects fired at them, said San Bernardino police Lt. Mike Madden. The suspects — police say it’s unclear how many there were — are at large.
One of the victims was initially in critical condition, said San Bernardino police Lt. Mike Madden, but that person’s condition was changed to stable. The other victims had non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
San Bernardino police are at the scene and investigation is active, Madden said.
