210 Freeway connector roads reopen after big rig overturns, left hanging over transition road in Fontana
The connector roads from the 210 Freeway to the 15 Freeway in Fontana have reopened after an overturned tractor trailer had been hanging off one of them Tuesday morning, prompting California Highway Patrol officials to issue a SigAlert for the area, officials said.
“It’s partially in the lane and partially over the side,” said CHP Officer Marcelo Llerena. “It’s really close to where it’s over another transition road.”

The trailer was reported around 6:40 a.m. hanging over the westbound 210 Freeway transition road to the southbound 15 Freeway, according to CHP reports. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle but it’s unclear if he’s injured, Llerena said.
Rescuers at the scene are working to help the driver and to clear the vehicle from the transition road.
