2 people displaced following late-night Mead Valley fire
A fire destroyed a Mead Valley home displacing two people late Tuesday night, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department officials said.
Firefighters were called to the 21000 block of Oleander Avenue around 11 p.m. for a fire that had engulfed a double-wide manufactured home, according to a news release.
Crews managed to contain the fire in about 30 minutes, but the blaze destroyed the home.
The American Red Cross was called to help two adults displaced by the fire, officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
