2 displaced after downtown Riverside house fire

A mid-morning fire on Friday, June 16, left two adults without a home in downtown Riverside, but no one was injured, according to a Riverside Fire Department news release.

The blaze was reported at 10:48 a.m. in the 3800 block of 4th Street. Four engines and 28 firefighters responded and searched for trapped victims before putting out the fire.

The cause was not reported. Fire officials requested help from the Red Cross in finding temporary housing to the fire victims.
