10 things you need to know about day 1 of Camp Flog Gnaw
The Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival kicked off its sixth year at Exposition Park in Los Angeles, on Saturday, Oct. 28, drawing in crowds of all ages — plenty of them in costume — to the music festival. The brainchild of multi-hyphenate Tyler the Creator, the festival followed the same two-day format as the previous year and featured non-stop fun for the “campers” throughout the day, from music to carnival rides.
While the rapper organized the festival, the event is all over the musical map. Saturday’s lineup included punk bands Fidlar and The Garden as well as electronic music groups Wednesday Campanella and Justice. Sunday’s lineup includes EDM stars Alison Wonderland and Sam Gellaitry are scheduled to perform on Oct. 29.
From the cool ensembles spotted to the eclectic lineup of artists performing at the Camp and Flog Stages, the carnival was full of surprises onstage and off. Here is a look at what you need to know about Day 1 at Camp Flog Gnaw:
